The Graines d’or is since 2 years no longer just a French Election but also an European Election. Garden Centre’s throughout Europe can ask for pre-selection and after that the garden centre will make a chance to be awarded.

Wednesday 30^th November in the famous nightclub Lido in Paris, the opening of this Election 2011 will take place. Valerie Langendorff from the French magazine Jardineries will be hosting this international show.

Oliver Mathys, commercial manager of Javado and member of the jury informed us that there has been long discussions within the 15 jurors but in the end the decisions were made.

Garden centers from Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland and France were being tested on 5 categories. After the pre-selection these garden centers were visited and the winner will be chosen Jardineries  “most innovative garden centre” .
